DIRTY SEXY MONEY (SEASON 1) Premieres Thu, 31 Dec @ 22:00 Repeat: Fri @ 01:00 STAR WORLD presents the all-new drama Dirty Sexy Money. Premiering Thu, 31 Dec at 22:00, the critically-acclaimed series boasts an all-star cast including Emmy nominee Peter Krause (Dirty Sexy Money), Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland (Ordinary People) and William Baldwin (Backdraft). The Darling clan is one of New York’s most powerful families. With their power and prestige, they are often involved in embarrassing scandals and serious legal troubles. Fortunately the family patriarch, Tripp Darling (Sutherland), has recruited idealistic lawyer Nick George (Krause) to take care of their legal needs and protect the family name. Since his late father also represented the Darlings, Nick has grown up in the shadow of this high-profile family. Despite his reluctance to follow in his father’s footsteps, Nick is persuaded to take on the job as the Darlings’ personal lawyer.

RHINO RESCUE Is extinction forever? Well, not in Botswana. This small country, with a large wildlife area covering 27% of the countryside, lost all its rhinos to poaching in the 1980's. Parks officials rallied and introduced white rhino back into the wild. In the 1990's, they went extinct in Botswana for a second time due to ruthless poaching. The head of the army, at the time, General Ian Khama, patrolled the area with his men and systematically wiped out poaching. At the end of the century, poaching was eradicated and it was decided that the area was once again ready for restocking. It was a huge risk. Not only would a failed attempt close this effort down forever, but it raised the question of increasing poaching once again. A unique partnership was proposed between government, conservation bodies and private enterprise. But after analysis, it was discovered that restocking a species and transporting them to the middle of the bushes cost a lot more than expected. But with the help of the army, transportation costs were successfully reduced and re-introduction of the rhinos back to wild started once again. Premieres: Wed 23 Dec @ 21:00 UAE
